Tree Characteristics: The Royal Mahogany tree is often 80 to 100 feet in height with diameters reaching between 2 and 3 feet, with the maximum height being around 170 feet high and a diameter of 6 feet.
Geographic Area: West Indies, Cuba, Trinidad, Honduras, Brazil, Colombia, the Guianas, Peru, and Venezuela. The tree can often be found in pure stands, in lowlands and also at higher altitudes near rivers.
